MICHELANGELO WAVE PRO V 3G

8E4438

The ideal solution for the protected access to the Internet access over ADSL and 3G mobile network.

Michelangelo Wave Pro V 3G integrates in a sole device all the features necessary for an efficient ADSL or UMTS Internet access with LAN protection and Wireless connectivity.
The support of a 3G USB key (UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA) allows applications in Fail Over mode of a primary connection (ADSL or 3G), that is backup over UMTS mobile network, allowing the Internet connection even in case of technical problems on the main line.
Alternatively to Fail Over mode Michelangelo Wave PRO V 3G can use the UMTS network as primary link for mobile applications (rescue means of transport, totems, temporary posts, etc.) or preliminary installations in geographical areas not reached by the ADSL network where operators supply the UMTS connectivity as temporary network.
The VPN support (Virtual Private Network) offers sure local LAN access even to remote users (single Client or whole LANs) protected by data encryption, both via ADSL and UMTS.
3G UMTS connectivity
Today with 3G HSDPA and HSUPA standards you can reach 7,2 Mbps in download and up to 2 Mbps in upload, that is similar or even higher than the ADSL speed. This allows most of classical applications, from high speed Internet acces to video streaming. The performances will depend only on the kind 3G key, on operator and on coverage. A complete management of 3G traffic limitations allows the use of traffic /timesubscriptions.
Protection through Firewall
Michelangelo Wave PRO V 3G integrates different Security functions.
VPN/IPSec Tunnel
A typical feature of broadband lines is the possibility to perform protected interconnections with other networks or computers through the Internet.
To guarantee the security and privacy of data moving on the public network Michelangelo Wave Pro V 3G supports up to 8 VPN (Virtual Privte Network) with IPSec or L2TP/PPTP encryption and authentication protocols besides the native Microsoft VPN (Server and Client).
Internet Advanced Functionalities
A series of advanced Internet functionalities are supported among which Virtual Server, DMZ, Dynamic DNS, Email check and Universal plug and Play.
Wireless Section
The built-in 801.11g Wireless Access Point operates with WEP/WPA, Hide SSID and MAC Filtering encryption protocol and with the WDS (Wireless Distribution System) functionality. The wireless section can be disabled.
