HSPA (High Speed Packet Access) is an evolution of 3G UMTS protocol with a download speed up to 7.2 Mbps (HSDPA) and an upload speed up to 5.76 Mbps (HSUPA). 3G UMTS network is often the only possibility of wideband connection and it is with no doubt the fastest and the most versatile solution for new applications and services that overcome the digital divide that up till now has been possible with ADSL and xDSL connections only. Data Router 3G WLL DG11 connects and browses the Internet thanks to the LAN port and to the 11g wireless interface. The built-in Firewall and the encryption systems of the wireless interface allow you to define the right protection for your network. For the data security you can also set a VPN IPSEC tunnel. Through the NAT, Virtual Server and DynDNS you will be able to remote access to devices or services on the local network. The implementation of specific functionalities makes 3G WLL DG11 the ideal device to meet the needs of the ever evolving M2M market. In particular the Remote Activation function remote enables the connection. When a specific SMS is received or a phone number is detected (CLI), the device will connect for a time set by the user and it will send an SMS informing that the connection has been performed and giving the IP address got from the network. You can also enable the 3G UMTS connection when an e-mail is received in LAN or through the management of the optoinsulated contact in the IN-OUT terminal block. Voice Gateway 3G WLL DG11 supports an FxS telephone interface to which you can connect a traditional phone or a PABX analog line performing a voice gateway through 3G UMTS network. It can be successfully used also in last mile applications where no telephone line is available or where it is not convenient to take it. A Backup battery (optional) can be installed to guarantee the voice and data operation even when power falls down. 3G WLL DG11 can be fully setup and managed via WEB interface, apart from the used operating system. The management and the configuration can be performed both locally and remotely.
